Second meeting at Kermit's this Wednesday at noon
Kermit will be holding another meeting this Wednesday, October 3rd at noon at his Treme Speakeasy Restaurant & Bar (1535 Basin St.) By that time, we hope to have talked to many venues around town and gotten their signatures on the fliering proposal, so we can head to City Hall sometime the following week. Meeting at Kermit's Place Today.
There were about 125 people or so in attendance. There were musicians, venue owners, music fans, and legal professionals that were all looking to create change in regards to live music & live music permits in New Orleans. There was one representative from the Mayor’s office there, but that is not enough to get this pushed through. We must all make our voices heard and we must state clearly...
